I know what you’re thinking “No, not another book exchange blog”

Well, let me tell you this one is different. There are a lot of book exchange blogs out there and I am very thankful to them. I’ve joined several and enjoyed it so much. But this blog has a slightly different idea to it.

Yes, I will be assisting in the pairing of people monthly so that you can exchange books. But the twist is you have to write on the book you’ll be sending. Writings, markings, highlights, anything your heart desires. 

Not only do you read the book you get but you have to re/read the book you will send to put in little notes. This unique condition makes you not only share a book you like but also share your thoughts, feelings, ideas, etc. with your partner. Also, even if you’ve received a book you already read, it will be different with the personalized writings of your partner.

HOW TO JOIN:

GIVE THE FOLLOWING DETAILS THROUGH THE ASK BOX OR SUBMIT:

- YOUR NAME

- MAILING ADDRESS

- WHAT BOOK YOU WILL BE MAILING

THE RULES:

1. SUBMISSIONS WILL END EVERY 25TH OF THE MONTH. THOSE SENT AFTER WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE NEXT MONTH’S EXCHANGE

2. YOUR ASKBOX SHOULD BE OPEN

3. BOOKS CAN BE NEW OR OLD AS LONG AS THEY ARE READABLE AND IN RELATIVELY GOOD CONDITION. PLEASE DO NOT EXCHANGE BOOKS THAT HAVE MISSING PAGES OR ARE DAMAGED

4. WRITINGS ON THE BOOKS SHOULD NOT OBSCURE THE ORIGINAL TEXT. WRITE ON THE MARGIN OR IN SPACES.

5. WRITINGS ON THE BOOKS SHOULD BE RELEVANT TO THE PASSAGE. DO NOT WRITE RANDOMLY. PUT IN WHAT YOU THINK WHILE YOU READ IT OR WHY YOU LIKE THAT LINE.

6. AFTER I HAVE PAIRED EVERYONE. I WILL SEND YOU A MESSAGE WITH THE DETAILS OF YOUR PARTNER. IT IS NOW YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO TELL YOUR PARTNER WHEN YOU HAVE SENT YOUR BOOK.

7. YOU CAN JOIN AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT.

8. IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT AGAINST A USER NOTIFY ME WITH HIS/HER TUMBLR ID AND COMPLAINT. I WILL INFORM THE USER IF A SECOND COMPLAINT IS MADE. THREE STRIKES AND I WILL AUTOMATICALLY BLOCK YOU FROM THE EXCHANGE.
